Morning off from Jill, almond meal porridge for breakfast.
Chicken salad and trip to the beauty salon at lunch (no walk :( )
Orange snack (also had apple in the morning).
Quick dash to butcher's before they shut for some Welsh Dragon sausages (spicy pork and leek). Then sliced up some sweet potato, spritzed with olive oil spray, sprinkled with chilli flakes and whacked in the oven on 200 degrees C/gas mark 6 for 30 minutes, turning once. Accompanied by onion gravy, kale (of course!) and boiled carrots.
Tried to resist wine. Failed.
Yum! Also snacked on Lindt 70% dark chocolate, walnuts and wasabi peas. It was a hungry evening.
This morning I bust out week one of Jill's six week six pack. Did not enjoy it, but did it all the same.
Breakfast could not come soon enough. I had a little bit of peanut butter left in my jar, so made the classic healthy living blogger recipe Oats in a Jar (except with my usual almond meal porridge rather than oats!). Bascially, make porridge as usual and pour in to the jar so it absorbs all those bits of PB your spoon/tongue can't reach. My kinda thrifty.
We're just in the process of decorating some homemade peppermint creams (pics to come!) before we hotfoot it to London for yummy burgers, a gig and a posh hotel.
